Representatives of European military are considering various scenarios for deploying a peacekeeping contingent in Ukraine, which they are preparing for their countries.

One of the possible options, which France insists on, is the deployment of a 'coalition of the willing' forces in the central part of Ukraine along the Dnieper River, further away from the front line.

Other options for the deployment of support forces are also being considered, such as at the edge of Western Ukraine or in a neighboring country.

It is worth noting that the United Kingdom and France are leading the initiative to ensure peace in Ukraine during a ceasefire. A 'coalition of the willing' has been formed, joined by over 20 countries, to unite nations ready to provide military or other assistance.

A summit of the 'coalition of the willing' regarding support for Ukraine is currently taking place in Paris. Diplomatic representatives from over 20 countries, including EU countries, the United Kingdom, Canada, Norway, and Turkey, have been invited. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is also present. The previous two summits were convened by the United Kingdom.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron explained the idea of deploying a peacekeeping contingent in Ukraine.
