The agreement between Dynamo and Yarmolenko
The football club 'Dynamo' Kyiv and the vice-captain of the team Andriy Yarmolenko have agreed to extend the contract for one more season. This news is reported by 'Hlavkom'.
This season, Yarmolenko has shown good results - 20 matches and 7 goals in the Premier League, 3 matches and 1 goal in the Ukrainian Cup, as well as 9 matches and 4 goals in European competitions.
This season, Yarmolenko became the champion of Ukraine for the fourth time as part of 'Dynamo', winning two Ukrainian Cup trophies and three Ukrainian Super Cups.
Yarmolenko returned to 'Dynamo' in 2023 after playing for 'Borussia' Dortmund, 'West Ham' and 'Al Ain'. Andriy made his debut for the Kyiv club back in 2008. In his last match, he became the top scorer of 'Dynamo' in history with 114 goals.
In total, Yarmolenko has 203 goals for Ukrainian clubs and the national team.
In the final of the Ukrainian Cup, 'Shakhtar' defeated 'Dynamo' in a penalty shootout, missing the decisive penalty. In the semifinals, 'Dynamo' won against 'Bukovyna' with a score of 4:1.
