Fabregas plans a managerial career in Italy
According to The Sun: Former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas is focused on development at Como in Italy but does not rule out that he has thoughts about the future.
According to SunSport, he intends to return to the Premier League.
What are the chances that Fabregas, former Arsenal captain, could lead the team at Emirates? The answer to this question remains open.
Fabregas and Como's success
Arsenal has invested over £240 million in new players, hoping that manager Arteta will bring success, and there will be no need to look for a new coach.
Fabregas already has several fans, including Arsenal and his former club Chelsea. Some Como players note that even at 38, he is the best coach they have worked with, thanks to his teaching methods and tactical vision.
Fabregas started his career at Como as a youth coach two years ago but quickly became the acting head coach. He played a key role in promoting the club to Serie A in the 2023-24 season, although at that time the formal head coach position was held by Osian Roberts while Fabregas was obtaining his necessary UEFA coaching licenses.
EPALast season Fabregas led Como to 10th place in Serie A. The summer provided him with an opportunity to decline offers from Internazionale, Roma, and Bayer.
Recently, Como defeated Lazio 2-0 in the first game of the new season of Serie A, increasing Fabregas's popularity.
Fabregas's future
In the near future, Premier League clubs may approach Fabregas with opportunities for collaboration.
Fabregas left Arsenal for Barcelona in August 2011, the same month Arteta joined Emirates. Now, with both having become coaches, could there be opportunities for Fabregas to return to Emirates after Arteta's departure?
