Crystal Palace wants to buy Reiss Nelson for £15 million: transfer details.
Negotiations for Reiss Nelson's transfer
According to The Sun: The club CRYSTAL PALACE is negotiating a possible transfer of Reiss Nelson from Arsenal for £15 million.
After successfully selling Eberechi Eze to the club from North London for £67.5 million, Palace is looking for opportunities to strengthen its attacking line.
GettyThis comes amid the club already agreeing to the transfer of Villarreal winger Yeremi Pino for £19.9 million, which will undoubtedly confirm his arrival at Selhurst Park.
Fulham was close to signing 25-year-old Nelson, who spent last season on loan at Craven Cottage, but failed to agree on a deal, and now Palace has entered the race for him.
It is known that Nelson's representatives are in talks with the club's management.
Nelson wants to leave Arsenal, where he has spent most of his career, aside from loans at Fulham, Hoffenheim, and Feyenoord, although his contract still has two years remaining.
The player has made 35 appearances in the Arsenal starting lineup and 55 as a substitute, but seeks regular playing time in the first team.
Fulham forward Alex Iwobi has repeatedly called on Nelson to join his team, although he himself finished last season with two thigh injuries.

However, even if Nelson's signing is successful, Palace is likely to continue strengthening the squad, as manager Oliver Glasner has expressed concerns over the lack of new signings.
European debut and signing issues
Palace is preparing for its first European tournament, having already played the first match in the Conference League qualification.
The team won against Fredrikstad KF 1-0 at home, but it needs to avoid defeat on artificial turf to reach the group stage.
Additionally, clubs are linking a possible signing of former loan player Conor Gallagher, who currently plays in La Liga for Atletico Madrid.
Gallagher made 32 league appearances for Diego Simeone's team last season and scored three goals. He spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Palace, where he became a fan favorite for his 8 goals in 34 matches.
Palace will face competition from Everton for Gallagher's signing.
