Aston Villa is nearing the signing of Lucas Paquetá
According to The Sun: Aston Villa is looking to sign West Ham star Lucas Paquetá, according to the latest information.
PAThe 28-year-old Brazilian has expressed a desire to move to Villa Park.
Unai Emery's side seems set to get Paquetá on an initial loan basis.
According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the loan will contain an obligation to buy.
The total fee for the deal, considering the initial loan fee and future transfer sum, will be approximately £47 million.
Paquetá is reportedly already met all the conditions for the transfer and aims to finalize the deal within the next 48 hours.
Previously, the midfielder had a chance for an expensive move to Manchester City, but the deal was halted due to match-fixing allegations.
This summer, all allegations were lifted, and he praised the support he received from West Ham.
However, despite this support, Paquetá is ready to change teams.

He traveled to Nottingham with his teammates ahead of today's match against Nottingham Forest.
However, the club management still has to decide whether to include Paquetá in the squad for the match in light of transfer rumors.
Prospects of other players
Paquetá's compatriot, Emerson Palmieri, is likely to leave the club in favor of Marseille before tomorrow's transfer deadline.
The French side is also showing interest in center-back Naïef Aguerd.
