Nicolás Jackson leaves Chelsea: where will the forward go after talks with Emery.
According to The Sun: Aston Villa is ready to pass on the opportunity to sign Nicolás Jackson, despite strong interest in the striker over the last 48 hours, SunSport can exclusively reveal.
Jackson is a sought-after player, but the £70 million price tag from Chelsea has become a major obstacle for Villa, which is currently struggling with the ongoing adherence to Financial Fair Play regulations.
The Senegalese forward first broke into Europe under Unai Emery during their joint time at Villarreal, and the two have remained in touch since, SunSport reports.
However, any deal will require significant sums, as Jackson signed a new contract with Chelsea in September last year, including a substantial increase in his wages.
Newcastle also expressed interest in the striker and requested to be kept informed, but sources confirm that another major club has contacted Jackson's camp and negotiations are underway.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca confirmed that Jackson is in good shape and ready after serving the last match of his three-match suspension due to a red card in the match against Newcastle last season.
However, Maresca also stated that the striker will not be included in the squad due to uncertainty about his future and the desire of both the player and the club to part ways this summer.

Torino and Milan learned that they cannot financially respond to Chelsea's and Jackson’s demands. Manchester United also considered him but turned down the transfer and focused on Benjamin Sesko after signing Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
Tottenham was also mentioned in the summer when Jackson became available and may make a move later if they sell Richarlison, who, despite a strong start to the season, has been linked with a transfer.
Another potential buyer is Bayern Munich, who have yet to replace the injured Jamal Musiala. SunSport understands that the German giants have asked Chelsea about the possibility of acquiring Christopher Nkunku and Nicolás Jackson this month.

For Aston Villa, the £70 million price for Nicolás Jackson has become an insurmountable barrier, although the striker is a highly sought-after player. Due to the club's financial constraints, a potential transfer for the player seems unlikely, and other major clubs are also exploring possibilities for signing this talented footballer.Read also
