In Afghanistan, a bus collided with a fuel truck: 79 people died, including 17 children.
According to The Sun: A terrible accident occurred in Afghanistan, where a passenger bus collided with a truck and a motorcycle. As a result of this tragedy, at least 79 people died, including 17 children. The accident happened in Herat province when the bus exploded in flames due to the collision with other vehicles. Medical personnel faced difficulties in identifying the bodies, and information about the incident was confirmed by the spokesperson of the provincial government.
Mohammad Yusuf Saidi, spokesperson for the provincial government of Herat, said: 'Seventy-six citizens of the country died in the incident, and three others were seriously injured.'
The truck was carrying fuel, which caused a large fire to break out. The bus driver was transporting refugees back from Iran after deportation. This is not the first similar accident in the country, as traffic accidents are quite common due to poor roads and drivers breaking rules. Afghanistan, after many years of conflict, still faces these problems, leading to horrific tragedies.
As a result of the horrific accident, dozens of people, including many children, lost their lives. This incident shows how important it is to follow traffic rules and care about safety on the roads, especially in high-risk conditions characteristic of certain regions. More attention must be paid to road safety issues to avoid similar tragedies in the future.
