Ukraine probably used Storm Shadow long-range missiles on Russian territory for the first Time. According to Defense Express, this could have been aimed at an object with an underground command post of the Russian Federation.

According to the publication, if the Ukrainian side indeed used Storm Shadow missiles on Russian territory, a strike was made 'not on a simple object'. In the Kursk region, there may be a command facility for the Russian army grouping along with North Korean generals.

A video has appeared online from the settlement of Maryinka, where series of explosions can be heard. The video shows the building of the Baryatinsky estate, which is currently a sanatorium managed by the President of the Russian Federation.

According to unconfirmed information, the object that was struck was located in the sanatorium and may have been a command post. It is likely that the presence of command at this location was the reason for the Storm Shadow missile attack. These missiles are designed to hit protected objects.

This is not the first attack on the settlement of Maryinka. A month ago, the Russian side recorded five strikes that allegedly damaged a building on the territory of the Baryatinsky princes' estate.

It should be noted that in 2021, 7.8 billion rubles were allocated for the preservation of the historical buildings of the former estate.

In the afternoon, the Russian side began reporting strikes by Storm Shadow missiles in the Kursk region.

The Times reported, citing high-ranking sources in the British government, that the United States lifted restrictions on the use of British Storm Shadow missiles on Russian territory.

France and Great Britain also granted Ukraine permission to strike with Scalp/Storm Shadow missiles on Russian territory.
