According to The Sun: Scott Brown revealed that he once hit his assistant manager on the head with a ball!
The former star footballer of 'Celtic' played for this club throughout his 20-year career and also captained the Scotland national team.
Now Brown, who manages the championship club 'Ayr United', shared a story about when he hit former Scotland youth team coach Maurice Malpas on the head with a ball.
Brown joined his former teammate from 'Celtic' and the Scotland national team Charlie Mulgrew on his golf channel 'Mulgrew Pitch to Par' along with another former 'Celtic' player Paul Slane.
The former 'Celtic' defender recalled how he first met Brown during a youth team training session.
In the episode, he said: 'When I met you in the Scotland youth team, you hit the coach with a ball.'
Brown quickly corrected his former teammate from 'Celtic' and confirmed that it was indeed a ball!
Mulgrew added: 'I don't know what's worse, that he was supposed to be the leader, Maurice Malpas, and he hit him with a spoon on the head!'
Brown remembered that moment well, saying: 'We were all joking around, and Mo comes in and sits down, and I'm getting ready to throw a ball at one of the guys, and it just hit Mo on the side of the head.'
“Mo is bald, you actually heard how loud it was, I thought: 'What have I just done.'
“But it didn’t help me at all!”
Despite this incident, Brown continued a successful career in the national team.
He represented Scotland 55 times between 2005 and 2017, even captaining the team during his career.
