Kamala Harris supports Biden's strategy on Ukraine and the Middle East

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris continues to support President Joe Biden's strategy on Ukraine and the Middle East, Axios reports.

This contrasts with the more aggressive approach advocated by former President Donald Trump.

"She is still the incumbent Vice President and supports the administration's policy in the Middle East," said Harris's aide.

Regarding Ukraine, Harris supports Biden's stance on the necessity of continuing to provide weapons to aid in the fight against the Russian invasion. In contrast, Trump urges Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to make a deal with Vladimir Putin and end the war.

The Biden administration believes that Trump's scenario could lead to Ukraine ceding territory to Russia, effectively rewarding Putin for the invasion.

Harris, who may become the Democratic Party's candidate in the November presidential election, currently demonstrates consistency in foreign policy with Biden. However, experts note that if she wins, she may not retain all the foreign policy personnel and views of the current president.

At the Democratic Party Convention, Harris promised that the U.S. would always have "the most powerful and lethal armed forces in the world." However, she also made some mistakes in her statements about foreign policy.

Currently, the Harris campaign refuses to comment on how exactly she would resolve conflicts as president, citing her current position as Vice President.
