U.S. President Joe Biden ordered to "change everything to provide Ukraine with needed assistance".

Director for Europe at the U.S. National Security Council Michael Carpenter reported this in an interview with "Voice of America".

According to him, Biden is firmly committed to supporting Ukraine and putting it in a strong position by the end of his term.

"He ordered everyone who works for him to do everything possible to provide all necessary assistance, including military, as well as assistance in energy security. This was proposed in the supplemental funding bill that was passed in April, and we are implementing it now," said Carpenter.

He also noted that the White House has not yet received Ukraine's victory plan, which President Volodymyr Zelensky will present in the U.S.

"We are constantly communicating with our Ukrainian partners on all issues. But in this case, I understand that President Zelensky wanted to come here personally to present his plan to President Biden. So no, we are not yet familiar with the plan, but soon the presidents will have the opportunity to discuss it and finalize their strategic goals by the end of this administration, which is very important," added Carpenter.

It is worth noting that Zelensky is going to the U.S. with Ukraine's "victory plan." On Thursday, September 26, he will present his ideas to President Joe Biden.

The Director for Europe noted that the White House is eagerly awaiting the presentation and wants to align strategic goals with Kyiv for the last four months of Joe Biden's administration.

"For Joe Biden, Ukraine is a top priority, and he wants to see Ukraine's victory as part of his political legacy," emphasized Carpenter.

Earlier, Zelensky announced negotiations in the U.S. and a new plan to strengthen Ukraine.
