The Head of State verified this on the website of one of the official services of the Russian Federation, which provides this service.
It turned out that a person with the same surname, first name, patronymic, and date of birth as the head of the Moscow church indeed obtained a Russian citizenship passport and has a valid tax number (
INN). The Russian service provided

Revocation of citizenship
Recall that on July 2, based on SBU materials, the Ukrainian citizenship of Orest Berezovsky, known as the UOC (MP) figure Onufriy, was revoked. The respective decree was signed by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
The SBU established that Metropolitan Onufriy voluntarily obtained Russian citizenship in 2002 without notifying the authorized government bodies of Ukraine. However, after that, the head of the Moscow church in Ukraine continued to use his status as a Ukrainian citizen.
The UOC MP Onufriy has Russian citizenship, which is confirmed by a valid Russian passport and tax number. This information became known after his Ukrainian citizenship was revoked for not timely reporting his obtaining of Russian citizenship.
