Leo Messi will not return to Barcelona
According to The Sun: Barcelona reacted to the possible return of Lionel Messi to the club. The club president, Joan Laporta, admitted that the restoration of cooperation with the Argentine captain and World Cup holder looks "simply unrealistic".
Laporta emphasized:
"This cannot happen as the circumstances do not allow for this opportunity to be realized".
Messi gained immense popularity at the Nou Camp and has an impressive collection of trophies.
Let us remind you that Lionel Messi left Barcelona in 2021 after a long career, during which he became a club legend. His name has always been associated with the greatest achievements of the team, but at this point his return seems unlikely due to the financial and staffing circumstances at the club.
