The United States government reported that Russia anticipated a possible missile strike on Ukraine. They stated that Ukraine and its allies were warned about a potential launch of an experimental ballistic missile by Russia. However, the US believes that this launch will have little impact on the course of the war, as Russia has a limited number of such missiles.

Dmitry Peskov, a Kremlin spokesperson, confirmed the US warning about the missile launch 30 minutes before it occurred. This information was transmitted via the 'Russian National Center for Reducing Nuclear Danger'.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia used an intercontinental ballistic missile during the attack on Dnipro. According to sources from 'UP', it could have been a 'Rubezh' missile - a potential carrier of a nuclear warhead. However, Western representatives did not confirm this information.

President Vladimir Putin reported that a medium-range missile called 'Oreshnik' was used for the attack on Dnipro. He also warned Western countries about possible strikes after granting Ukraine permission to use missiles on Russian territory.
