Frontline situation as of July 5, 2025. Summary of the General Staff.
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has carried out one missile strike and 51 air strikes, firing two missiles and 92 guided aerial bombs. A total of 1376 kamikaze drones have been used and 4805 shellings of our troops' positions and settlements have taken place.
According to the information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of July 5 at 22:00, 170 combat engagements have been recorded. Ukrainian defenders effectively repel enemy attacks, inflicting significant losses.
Latest news from the front
The situation is most tense in the Pokrovsk direction. Throughout the day, Ukrainian forces have destroyed many occupiers, as well as enemy vehicles and drones. There were 135 neutralizations of militants recorded, of which 85 survived. Defensive actions continue in other directions as well.
It is worth noting that the full-scale war in Ukraine has been ongoing for the 1228th day.
