Blackout, gasoline, diesel and gas prices: expert Kuyun forecasted the situation in winter.
The fuel market in Ukraine shows a significant surplus of supply, informs head of the analytical group "A95" Sergey Kuyun. According to him, fuel reserves exceed demand by 15-30%. Kuyun emphasizes that even with possible disruptions in energy supply, fuel reserves significantly exceed demand.
The expert also notes that thanks to the optimization of logistical processes, importers can increase supplies by half above the current level. The main fuel comes through Romania and Poland, but there are other producers who have access to seaports, such as the United States, Kuwait, and India.
According to Kuyun's forecast, in the near future it is possible to reduce the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel due to a favorable situation in the global oil market. However, the price of liquefied gas has already reached a record 30 hryvnias per liter. In the long-term perspective, fuel prices will depend on global quotations and the exchange rate.
