When will the Boyzone concert take place at Emirates Stadium in 2026?

Boyband fans were shocked on September 30 when Boyzone announced a one-off show at Emirates Stadium next year.

This event, titled 'One For The Road', will take place on Arsenal's football pitch on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Lead singer Ronan Keating described the concert as 'the last goodbye' for the guys from the 1990s, noting that it will be their biggest project of their career.

Their hits have become a symbol for many who are now 30, 40, or even 50 years old, and so this concert truly marks the end of an era for numerous fans.

Keating said on BBC Breakfast on Tuesday: “We are not making new music, this is not a reunion. There are many groups doing that.”
“Everyone has been part of the Boyzone journey, this story they’ve shared, laughing and crying together with us through the documentary.”

He added, “Gathering everyone together at Emirates and saying our last goodbye the way we want will be quite powerful.”

Singer Shane Lynch admitted he previously thought the group, which also includes Keith Duffy and Mikey Graham, “definitely would not share a stage again.”

Duffy confirmed that “this will not be a tour.” He added, “This is a celebration, it’s the final chapter, it’s us guys on stage together one last time.”

When was Boyzone's last tour?

The Irish boy band, formed by Louis Walsh, debuted in 1993, initially having various line-ups, before eventually forming a five-member group including Duffy, Stephen Gately, Graham, Keating, and Lynch.

Throughout their career, Boyzone achieved six number ones in the UK but also endured the loss of member Gately in 2009 at the age of 33.

The farewell concert in 2026 will not be the first time the group returned to the stage after a break; in 2019 they performed for five nights at the London Palladium.

While Boyzone does not perform regularly, their stories continue to live on screens, especially after the release of the documentary 'Boyzone: No Matter What'.

The documentary highlighted the ups and downs of the band's fame and gave fans a chance to reminisce about their youth. Now the guys have decided to give fans what they have longed for – the chance to revisit the good old days.
