Buriak named the main advantage of Dynamo over Shakhtar.
Kiev's 'Dynamo' achieved a convincing victory in the Champions League, beating 'Hamrun Spartans' 3:0. The legendary player and coach Leonid Buriak shared his impressions of the game.
“Let's not sing praises after 3:0. We understand perfectly well what Malta is,” Buriak emphasized.
The coach noted that football in Malta cannot yet be an objective measure for assessing the level of the Kyiv team. However, he highlighted that the team is in good shape ahead of the season.
The coach's view of the future
According to Buriak, 'Dynamo' has a very reliable squad of 20-25 players. He emphasized the loyalty of Ukrainian players, even with modest transfers.
The coach also noted that, while he respects 'Shakhtar', he is primarily interested in the development of Ukrainian talents, not just the club's successes.
“I care about Ukrainian players, but everything else does not interest me, to be honest,” he added.
