Polissya in European Cups: Club President Talks About Players' Grueling Schedule.
The president of the football club 'Polissya', Hennadiy Butkevych, shared his impressions of the team's participation in European cups and acknowledged that this period has been very demanding for everyone.
He noted that the pressure has been heavy not only for the players but also for the coaching staff. The president also expressed respect for the head coach Hennadiy Rotsan, who does not complain about the match schedule but at the same time openly pointed out the problems the team faces due to the large number of games.
'We found ourselves in a situation where the team plays six matches without breaks. The players live with suitcases, see their relatives only in photographs, and risk their health. Returning after some matches takes more than a day, and we go into the next match without proper preparation. Such a schedule harms the team and requires attention from football organizations,' explained Butkevych.
It is worth remembering that Cristiano Ronaldo lost to Lionel Messi in the race for a historic achievement, while the player's career, Andriy Lunin, may face serious changes if 'Real' accepts an offer from a European club.
In conclusion, the president of 'Polissya' emphasized the difficulty of the match schedule and its negative impact on the team, calling for attention and support from the relevant football institutions.
