This is their war: US State Department reacted to the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Russia.
US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller stated that the United States leaves the right for Ukraine to comment on its actions.
“There is nothing unusual in the fact that Ukraine does not inform us about its exact tactics before their implementation. This is a war they are fighting,” noted Miller.

According to the State Department representative, the United States provides Ukraine with equipment and consultations, but daily tactical communication does not always occur. “We find it appropriate for them to make these decisions themselves,” emphasized Miller.
Earlier, US National Security Council representative John Kirby also refrained from commenting on the events in the Kursk region, noting that it is best for the Ukrainians to speak about their operations.

These statements were made following reports of a possible raid by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region. Vladimir Putin considers these events to be a “major provocation.”
Currently, there has been no official reaction from the Ukrainian authorities regarding these reports.
