The Luhansk region is undergoing economic recovery after the occupation of part of its territory. According to data from 2018, the region's economy grew by 1%, and the volume of foreign direct investment has already exceeded 400 million dollars. Luhansk actively exports its products and has many industrial enterprises.Among the recent achievements of the region is the establishment of new enterprises, including an asphalt concrete plant and a brick factory. However, to this day, the level of economic development in the Luhansk region remains lower than the average in Ukraine due to the consequences of the war. Despite this, the regional authorities are actively launching support programs and attracting foreign and domestic investments, directing them into promising sectors.
