In other news, Russian bodybuilders who are part of the national team failed to obtain the necessary Spanish visas to participate in the European Championship.
The Spanish embassy rejected most of the applications, despite the official invitation from the International Federation of Bodybuilding and letters of support from the city mayor and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Also, Ukrainian fencers became world champions in foil fencing among juniors. They defeated the Chinese team with a score of 45-34. Thanks to these victories, Ukraine found itself among the top five countries in the medal standings. It only lagged behind the USA, Italy, Egypt, and Canada.
