Chyppurniy won two awards at the World Cup stage in artistic gymnastics.
Ukrainian Nazar Chyppurniy became a prizewinner at the World Cup stage in artistic gymnastics, which took place in Cairo from April 25 to 28. He won bronze in the floor exercise and silver in the vault. This is already his 14th and 15th medals at these competitions.
Ukrainian bodybuilders will not be able to participate in the European Championship due to the Spanish embassy's refusal to grant them visas. Russian athletes who took part in the qualifying competitions were denied visas, despite an official invitation from the International Bodybuilding Federation.
The Ukrainian fencing team became the world champion among juniors in the team standings. Our athletes defeated the Chinese team with a score of 45:34. The decisive fights were by Valeriia Bilois-Hrydiak, Alina Dmytruk, and Anna Maksymenko.
Thanks to this victory, Ukraine ended up in fifth place in the medal standings, only behind the USA, Italy, Egypt, and Canada.
