Border Crossing Situation in Ukraine as of March 15

According to Novyny.live: As of noon on March 15, Ukraine’s border situation remains stable, with virtually no lines for those leaving the country. Only minor vehicle clusters have been recorded at a few checkpoints, indicating a relatively calm period for travelers.

Conditions at Different Border Segments

At the Polish border, the situation is as follows:

  • No buses are waiting at the 'Yahodyn' checkpoint,
  • 35 passenger cars are queued at 'Ustyluh'.

This reflects a moderate flow of traffic heading toward Poland.

On the Slovak border, 20 passenger cars are currently waiting at the 'Uzhhorod' checkpoint. Other crossing points in this direction report no significant queues or congestion.

Conditions are even calmer at the Hungarian and Romanian borders: all checkpoints on these routes have zero passenger cars or buses waiting. This indicates a lack of heavy traffic along these corridors.

Similarly, the border with Moldova shows the same pattern—no passenger cars, buses, or pedestrians are recorded at any crossing point.

Overall, as of mid-March, queues at Ukraine’s borders remain minimal, which could be a positive sign for those planning trips abroad.

The situation at Ukraine’s borders reflects stability and an absence of major congestion, potentially encouraging more travel activity.

With queues nearly nonexistent, citizens can more easily plan their journeys to neighboring countries. This may also benefit transport companies and the tourism industry, which could see a rise in demand in the near future.
