Blossoms Vocalist Closes His Bar in Stockport: What Happens Next.
Closure of Tom Ogden's Cocktail Bar
According to The Sun: The singer of the popular band has closed his bar in the city center after just two years of operation.
The bar was located in the historic and dynamically developing Underbanks area of Stockport, which was once derelict but has transformed into a stylish speakeasy-style cocktail venue.
The concept of the bar was inspired by the international experience of the owners, who visited various places during the band's tours.
Tom Ogden, the frontman and songwriter of the popular indie band Blossoms, together with his wife Katie, opened the Bohemian Arts Club cocktail bar in their hometown in May 2023.
The interior of the bar is inspired by places visited during the band’s tourThe band Blossoms, founded in 2013, is named after The Blossoms pub on Bramhall Lane in Stockport.
Their debut album featuring the hit Charlemagne topped the UK albums chart in 2016.
Blossoms supported Noel Gallagher and the High Flying Birds last year, and there have been rumors in the media about their participation in this year's Oasis tour.
Blossoms will also appear in a new Netflix film 'Finding Emily', a romantic comedy about a lovesick musician who gets the wrong number and embarks on a quest. The premiere is scheduled for May 2026.
The bar occupied two floors and was located above the Bohemian salon, which was run by Katie.

Today, in an update on their social media, the business announced the closure of the bar next month, instead the successful salon will expand into this space. The last day of the bar's operation is set for Friday, October 3rd.
“After wonderful 2.5 years, we are happy to share that the building will enter a new phase in its development!”
“Given the success of the salon, Bohemian will expand two floors up.”
“While it means the closure of the bar, and we are saddened by this, we also cannot wait to see how this space evolves.”
“It has been so nice to be part of weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and many celebrations — we will always cherish these memories.”
“Our last banquet will take place on October 3rd. For anyone with a reservation after this date, we will reach out to cancel — we apologize for any inconvenience.”
“Thank you for your support over the past few years. We look forward to showing everyone the new space! Katie, Tom, and the team.”
When the bar opened in 2023, Katie noted: “We are from this area and don’t think there’s anything like this in Stockport.”
“I have always dreamed of opening my own bar and salon, and after visiting cool speakeasies and small venues, we knew exactly what style we were aiming for our own.”

“Katie and I met and got married in Stockport; this is where it all began for the band, and our hometown; it means a lot to us,” said Tom.
“It’s nice to do something in our hometown, and we have always been big supporters of Stockport, so it’s nice to play our part in getting it noticed – everyone around here is really good,” he added.
Despite the closure of the cocktail bar, the team will continue to delight visitors at Bohemian, where a cozy and atmospheric space has already long been established. The planned expansion for the future signifies the establishment's success and the owners' desire to provide even more opportunities for relaxation in their hometown.
The closure of the bar, which became a popular meeting and celebration spot, will leave a mark in the hearts of many of its visitors, who have praised the atmosphere and service. In the future, new ideas and designs from Tom and Katie can be expected, as they seek to continue to delight their fans and support the development of Stockport's cultural life.
