New Support Package for Ukraine’s Reconstruction
According to Novyny.live: At the 2026 Ukraine Recovery Conference, Kyiv unveiled a fresh assistance package exceeding €470 million aimed at rebuilding the country. The funding targets several critical areas designed to upgrade infrastructure and improve social conditions across Ukraine.
Allocation of the Funds
- €100 million will go toward a pilot social housing program intended to address the population’s need for affordable homes.
- €96 million is earmarked for repairing roads and bridges, a vital step in enhancing transportation networks.
- €125 million will be used to modernize water supply systems, helping raise water quality in various regions.
- €80 million will launch the European Flagship Fund, designed to boost entrepreneurship in Ukraine.
- €100 million in credit will be provided to Ukreximbank, enabling it to extend financing to businesses.
- €500 million in guarantees will support 10,000 entrepreneurs, fostering small and medium-sized enterprise growth.
The conference marked a major milestone in Ukraine’s collaboration with international partners. The next gathering is scheduled for Tallinn, Estonia, underscoring the continued drive to raise funds for the nation’s recovery. Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction, Oleksiy Kuleba, stressed the significance of these investments for the country’s future and economic revival.
