Ukrainian Fuel Prices Surge, Reaching 80 UAH per Liter.
Fuel Prices Climb in Ukraine
According to Novyny.live: Fuel prices in Ukraine continue to rise, a trend exacerbated by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. This increase became particularly pronounced on March 4, 2023, causing significant concern among drivers and consumers. The current costs for gasoline, diesel, and gas reflect substantial market shifts and have led to noticeable panic buying at service stations.
Current Fuel Costs
The price of gasoline currently varies by supplier:
- Ukrnafta A-95 gasoline – 67.99 UAH per liter
- WOG A-95 Euro gasoline – 68.99 UAH per liter
- OKKO and SOCAR A-95 Euro gasoline – 70.99 UAH per liter
- WOG 100-octane gasoline – 78.99 UAH per liter
- OKKO and SOCAR 100-octane gasoline – 80.99 UAH per liter

- OKKO and SOCAR diesel – 70.99 UAH per liter
Regarding autogas (LPG), the lowest prices are as follows:
- 40.98 UAH per liter at WOG and SOCAR
- 40.99 UAH per liter from Ukrnafta
- 41.99 UAH per liter at OKKO
Dmitry Lyoushkin, founder of the Prime group of companies, stated that panic buying of fuel is now unavoidable, highlighting the difficult market conditions.
Amid global economic instability, fueled in part by armed conflicts disrupting raw material supplies, Ukrainian fuel prices keep climbing, placing an added burden on consumers. The rush at gas stations underscores drivers' anxiety over potential further price hikes, which may influence their purchasing behavior. Given the current volatility, consumers are advised to monitor price changes closely and adjust their spending plans accordingly. This situation is part of a broader trend of energy cost inflation affecting many economies worldwide.
