A man in the Khmelnytskyi region was sentenced to three years in prison for evading mobilization. The man received five summonses but did not serve. He explained his decision by saying that he disagreed with the conclusion of the medical commission and considered himself unfit for military service.
The court found the man guilty and sentenced him to three years in prison.
This ruling can be appealed in the appellate court.
National deputy Hryhorii Mazurashu proposes an alternative draft law to strengthen responsibility for military offenses.
