Money for people with disabilities - who is guaranteed 800,000 UAH.
In 2025, Ukrainians may receive financial assistance from the state, which may reach up to one million hryvnias. This support is intended for those citizens who have suffered from the war in Ukraine and have become disabled. Information about this is provided in the materials of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU).
This year, assistance is granted to citizens who have sustained injuries, disabilities, or severe illnesses due to hostilities, as well as relatives of the deceased. Employees of critical infrastructure, civil servants, and family members of deceased persons are entitled to receive assistance.
Amount of payments and procedure for obtaining in 2025
The amount of financial assistance depends on the level of disability or the fact of death. For example, families of the deceased may receive 1 million hryvnias, individuals with first-group disabilities - 800 thousand hryvnias, second-group - 500 thousand hryvnias, and third-group - 200 thousand hryvnias. To receive assistance, citizens can apply in person at the Pension Fund office or online through the PFU e-services portal.
The documents required to collect assistance include a passport, identification code, proof of injury or death, as well as proof of family ties (in case of the death of relatives). The application for payment must be submitted within three years from the moment the right to assistance arises.
