Crystal Palace wants to buy Manchester City defender for 15 million pounds.
According to The Sun: Crystal Palace is interested in Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji and has offered 15 million euros for him. This is the fourth transfer for the 'Eagles' this summer season, having already signed goalkeeper Walter Benitez and defender Borna Sosa.
Crystal Palace has made an offer for Manchester City star Akanji.
Sources told SunSport that the FA Cup holders offered 15 million pounds for 30-year-old Akanji.
Despite a challenging season for Manchester City, defender Manuel Akanji managed to record two assists in 40 matches last season. Overall, the Swiss player scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists in 136 matches after moving from Borussia Dortmund to 'the Citizens' in 2022.
Akanji, who has already won two Premier League titles with Manchester City, could be a potential replacement for Guehi, who is sought after by Liverpool, Tottenham, and Barcelona.
Pep Guardiola was forced to leave Akanji and Ilkay Gundogan out of the squad for the match against Tottenham
Crystal Palace is interested in signing the Manchester City player and is willing to pay the appropriate amount for him. Akanji could become an important player for the 'Eagles' and strengthen their defense line in the future.
