Daniel Dubois refused to fight for the title against Frank Sanchez
According to The Sun: Daniel Dubois decided not to participate in the match for the contender title against Frank Sanchez. The 28-year-old boxer was offered to compete against the Cuban Sanchez, which would have given him a chance to fight Alexander Usyk.
A representative from Dubois' promotional company, Queensbury, commented:
'Eliminator holds little value right now for Daniel.'
According to him, Dubois is focused on other opportunities, as the fight prospects are currently not favorable for him.
Dubois' refusal to fight may indicate that the boxer is looking for more advantageous options for his career growth. In the face of competition on the world boxing stage, it is important for him to focus on matches that will bring him the greatest benefit and a chance at the title.
