According to The Sun: Demi Sims has decided to trade her carefree life of cocktails and parties for serious training ahead of her boxing debut.

The reality star will face Nadezhda Hopkins on Saturday in Manchester.

Demi is training under the guidance of her father Tony, who has extensive experience working with boxers such as Connor Benn and previously – Anthony Joshua.

She is also debuting alongside her cousin Joey Essex, star of 'The Only Way is Essex'.

SunSport journalists had the opportunity to visit their training camp at Tony's gym in Romford.

Demi, 28, noted:

“Obviously, this is our debut together with Joey, so we feel the same.”

She added:

“We are both nervous, but week by week we are becoming more confident and working harder. It is absolutely not the same as filming reality.”

Joey, 35, commented:

“We have both improved a lot, especially in such a short time.”

Essex plans to fight against the Portuguese influencer Numeiro, while Demi will face Hopkins.

Considering the support in the boxing arena, Demi said to Joey:

“It is really exciting.”

She added:

“We must win; we cannot let the family name down!”
