In the period from January to September 2024, in terms of sectors of the economy, the manufacturing industry and the trade sector continue to lead in terms of the share of tax payments to the consolidated budget of Ukraine.
According to the State Tax Service of Ukraine, the largest share in the payment of taxes, fees, and charges to the consolidated budget of Ukraine is made up of the following sectors:
Manufacturing industry - 16.7% of the total collection to the Consolidated Budget of Ukraine;
Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles - 16%;
Public administration and defense; compulsory social insurance - 11.3%;
Financial and insurance activities - 10.9%.
The largest increase in payments for January - September 2024 relative to January - September 2023 occurred in the following sectors:
Financial and insurance activities - an increase of 2.6 times, or +84.7 billion hryvnias;
Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles - an increase of 23.2%, or +37.9 billion hryvnias;
Manufacturing industry - an increase of 19.6%, or +34.6 billion hryvnias;
Professional, scientific, and technical activities - an increase of 62.6%, or +21.5 billion hryvnias.
