Didenko warned about the 'masked' warming and a new arrival of frosts.
According to the forecasts of meteorologists, Ukrainians are expecting frosty weather until the end of February, even if the frosts are hidden under the guise of mild weather. Currently, Ukraine is under the influence of an anticyclone, which brings dry and frosty weather. The air temperature at night ranges from -5 to -11 degrees, while during the day from -2 to -6 degrees. It will be warmer in the south and west of the country, particularly in Transcarpathia. In Kyiv, on February 12, dry and frosty weather is expected with a temperature of -9 degrees at night and -2 degrees during the day.
However, from February 14, atmospheric fronts are forecasted, which will bring snow. It will cover the entire country, starting from the west. This will be good news for winter sports enthusiasts.
