The situation in Kharkiv region is escalating due to the attempts of Russian forces to extend their influence in the territories near the Oskil River. The spokesperson for the Joint Forces Operation 'Kharkiv' Pavlo Shamshyn emphasized this in a television broadcast. 'Tension around Dvorichna is not decreasing. The enemy is actively trying to expand its positions to the west of the Oskil. Every day we observe hostilities, primarily in the areas of Dvorichna, Vilkhivka, Krasne Pershe, Kamianka, and Stroiivka,' Shamshyn said. According to the spokesperson, Russian forces are trying to seize new territories on the western bank of the Oskil. Meanwhile, the village of Lyptsi remains under Ukrainian control, where the enemy has not been able to restore its positions. Maintaining positions in the Vovchansk direction Ukrainian defenders continue to steadfastly defend in the Vovchansk direction, preventing the enemy from breaking their defense line. Russian troops are focusing on several strategic directions in Kharkiv region, but Ukrainian defenders successfully repel the enemy's offensive.
