CIA Director: Ukrainians are ready to fight with bare hands if acceptable peace conditions are not met.

CIA Director: the international community underestimates the resistance of the Ukrainian army
Director of the Central Intelligence Agency John Ratcliffe claims that the international community misjudges the determination of the Ukrainian army and people in the context of Russian aggression.
During hearings in the U.S. Senate, Ratcliffe stated that Ukrainians demonstrate incredible resolve in defending their country.
'I have seen with my own eyes how Ukrainians are ready to fight even with bare hands if necessary to preserve peace,' emphasized the head of American intelligence.
The CIA Director also noted that the administration of President Donald Trump aims to end the war in a way that prevents its recurrence in the future.
'President Trump is aware of the dangers of Russia's maximalist goals and that achieving them could lead to problems,' added Ratcliffe.
According to him, successful peace negotiations will require compromise, as neither side will be able to achieve its 'maximalist goals'.
This position aligns with statements from U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who stated that President Trump never said that Russia has the right to seize all of Ukraine's territory.
Earlier, U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz also expressed the belief that for a peaceful agreement to be reached, Moscow must agree to European security guarantees for Ukraine, while Kyiv must consider the possibility of territorial concessions.
