According to The Sun: Sean 'Diddy' Combs received more than four years of imprisonment after pleading guilty to sex trafficking.

The music mogul, who is 55 years old, could have received up to 20 years, but the court sentenced him to 50 months in prison, despite attempts to avoid punishment.

Additionally, he was fined £370,000 ($500,000) – the maximum penalty for this charge.

Combs has already spent about 13 months in prison, which will be counted towards the total sentence.

Manhattan Judge Aruna Subramanian also ordered five years of supervised release after his discharge.

The judge emphasized that Combs had abused women 'physically, emotionally, and psychologically.'

“You had money and power to keep this going,” the judge said.

“This was slavery that led to thoughts of ending their lives for Mrs. Ventura and Jane.”

At the hearing, Combs stood motionless for a minute, then raised his head and looked ahead.

Speaking in court, an emotional Combs said: “I have been humiliated and shattered to my core.”

“I hate myself now, I have been stripped of everything.”

He apologized to his ex-girlfriends Kassa and the anonymous 'Jane', as well as to all victims of domestic violence.

Combs admitted to being 'sick with drugs', 'out of control', and 'lost in his excess and ego.'

Lawyers representing Kassa will release her statement.

It states: “While nothing can restore the trauma inflicted by Combs, today's decision acknowledges the impact of the serious crimes he committed.”

Combs wrote a four-page letter to the judge pleading for mercy.

He apologized 'for all the pain and suffering I caused.'

“You abused the power and control you had over the lives of the women you claimed to love,” Judge Subramanian.

The judge reminded that 'serious crimes that caused irreversible harm to two women had been observed for over ten years.'

Combs also noted that 'my violence against women will always be a heavy burden I carry.'

He emphasized that his testimony concerns the attack on his ex-girlfriend Kassa Ventura, which was part of the trial.

In the letter, he blamed drugs for his actions.

“I am lost. My downfall is rooted in my selfishness,” he wrote.

The woman also wrote to the judge, expressing fear that Combs would be released and seek 'quick revenge.'

“He will always remain that cruel, power-hungry, and manipulative person that he is,” Kassa Ventura.

It has been noted that Combs did not receive severe punishment, as his defense focused on domestic violence charges, but not on sex trafficking.

During the hearings, Combs prayed as the decision was announced by the court.

Combs' attorneys noted that the professional team did the right thing.

Statements made by Combs in court indicate that he has not lost hope and was allegedly preparing for personal transformation:

“The old version of me died in prison, and a new version has been born. Prison will change you or kill you, and I chose to live.”

He currently remains at the Metropolitan Detention Center after several denied bail requests.
