Getting to Moldova is not easy - traffic jams on the Odesa-Reni highway.
On Friday, July 18, there are large traffic jams on the Odesa-Reni highway towards the checkpoint to Moldova at Palanka. However, there are currently no queues to Romania, so travelers in that direction will not have to wait.
According to the mapping service Google Maps, the largest traffic jam to Moldova is recorded near the village of Mayaki. The passage to 'Starokozache - Tudora' remains clear, and there is still no queue at the checkpoint in Reni.
Regarding the direction to Romania, the checkpoint 'Orlivka - Isakcha' is currently without traffic jams. Even near the Kofa canal, which is under repair, there is no congestion observed. Thus, travels via this route will not be complicated. The trip from Odesa to Reni will take about 4 hours.
We remind you that earlier we talked about new requirements for drivers traveling to Moldova, as well as the necessity to have certain documents for trips to Romania.
At the moment, significant traffic jams are observed on the Odesa-Reni highway towards Moldova, but travel to Romania is proceeding without hindrance. Drivers are advised to be prepared for possible delays along the way.
