Americans released in exchange with Russia arrive in the USA.
A plane with US citizens who were released from imprisonment in Russia landed at Andrews Air Force Base near Washington. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris personally greeted three Americans, including former Marine Paul Willan, Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, and Russian-American journalist Alsu Kurmasheva.

In Cologne, Germany, a plane landed with prisoners released by Russia and Belarus. Meanwhile, in Moscow airport, the Russians were greeted by Vladimir Putin, Sergei Naryshkin, and Andrey Belousov.
The prisoner exchange was the largest since the Cold War. The exchange list included 24 individuals, including five Germans and seven Russians.
