DTEK opened a renewable energy laboratory at KPI
DTEK has opened a renewable energy laboratory at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. This initiative is aimed at developing professional young specialists who will contribute to the energy transformation of Ukraine, reports DTEK's press service.
The laboratory consists of two rooms dedicated to solar and wind energy. The company also provides necessary technical equipment and plans for its further expansion. Energy storage systems, solar panels, inverters, and equipment for measuring meteorological indicators have already been purchased.
The General Director of DTEK, Oleksandr Selyshchev, noted that the joint project with KPI will improve the educational process and inspire young professionals to acquire new knowledge for the development of Ukraine's energy potential.
In the future, plans include expanding the technical base of the laboratories. Collaboration between DTEK and KPI was initiated after signing a memorandum of cooperation in August 2024.
