Yuliya Dzhima became the best sniper of the Biathlon World Cup.
In the 2024/25 season, the Biathlon World Cup has concluded. Two Ukrainian biathletes, Yuliya Dzhima and Kristina Dmitrenko, ranked in the top-5 for shooting accuracy in individual races. Yuliya competed in 23 races and demonstrated clean shooting nine times, while Kristina participated in 20 starts and finished without misses three times.
Yuliya Dzhima has the best result of the season among all female biathletes - 93.42% accuracy with 355 hits out of 380 shots. She had nine misses in prone shooting and 15 in standing. Kristina Dmitrenko showed 91.56% accuracy, hitting 293 targets out of 320. She had more hits in standing shooting - 149 out of 160, and 16 misses in prone.

The best results of Ukrainian athletes were achieved at the stage in Ancieri. Yuliya placed fourth in the sprint, while Kristina finished 17th in the individual race, which was her best result in the World Cup. Overall, Yuliya ranked 17th, and Kristina ranked 32nd.
The Ukrainian team received 10 licenses for the 2026 Olympic Games, which will take place in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
