The Single State Register resumes operations after a large-scale cyberattack.
The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine reported that the State Register of Legal Entities, Individuals - Entrepreneurs and Public Formations (SRLE) is resuming its operations after a cyberattack. From now on, the register will again exchange data with the tax service, statistics service, Pension Fund, Ministry of Digital Transformation, and other agencies that use its information.
The SRLE portal will offer the following features: free information search, creation of extracts, obtaining results of administrative services by access code, and access for government agencies through access identifiers. In addition, online services will be available through 'Diia'.
Yesterday, January 8, the Ministry of Justice restored its website after a cyberattack that led to the suspension of several state registers. Already on the eleventh day after the hacker attack, the first three registers resumed operations in Ukraine. Justice Minister Olha Stefanyshyna noted that this cyberattack is the largest in recent times. Deputy Director of the YouControl system, Danilo Globa, emphasized that this situation negatively affects the operation of systems that use data from the registers. Earlier, the Ministry of Justice named the estimated timelines for restoring registers after the cyberattack.
