Ex-footballer of Kyiv Dynamo declared wanted.
The former 41-year-old forward of Kyiv's 'Dynamo' Kleber is facing issues in his home country of Brazil. The court of the city of Cantanhede has issued a warrant for his arrest.
This was reported by the portal ge.globo.com referring to the court's decision.
Kleber declared wanted
The former footballer of the Ukrainian championship has been declared wanted due to non-payment of alimony. According to sources, the debt has been accumulating since 2020, exceeding 2 million Brazilian reais, which is approximately 310 thousand euros.
The court ruled that Kleber must serve 60 days in jail if he does not pay off the debt in full.
Kleber played for 'Dynamo' from 2004 to 2008, making 105 appearances for the club, scoring 36 goals, and providing six assists. As a member of the Kyiv team, the Brazilian became the champion of Ukraine and the holder of the Cup and Supercup.
After 'Dynamo', he played for the Brazilian 'Palmeiras', where he was a star of the club, and 'Cruzeiro', with his last club being the American 'Austin Bold' (2019–2021).
It should be noted that in 2023, Kleber was accused of assaulting gas station workers in Brazil, but at that time the case was smoothed over.
According to information, former footballer Kleber is being sought in Brazil for non-payment of alimony amounting to over 2 million reais, which could lead to his arrest for 60 days if the debt is not settled.
