Zabarnyi has already won his first trophy at PSG: how the Ukrainian adapts to the new team.
Ukrainian defender Illia Zabarnyi made his debut for PSG and has already won his first trophy with Luis Enrique's team.
Coach and expert Maksym Levytskyi expressed his opinion on Zabarnyi's adaptation in Paris, according to Ukrainian football.
What Levytskyi said about Zabarnyi's psychological adaptation
An important factor will be how the newcomer is accepted in the team right away. It is noted that Zabarnyi already speaks English, as he played for the English club Bournemouth. According to Levytskyi, this will help him quickly play a key role in interacting with his teammates and the coaching staff.
The expert also emphasized that the transfer fee for Zabarnyi was considerable - 63 million euros, which indicates a high level of trust. His experience playing in the Premier League against opponents like Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland should help Illia feel confident amidst other players.
According to Levytskyi, it will be easier for Zabarnyi to adapt psychologically to PSG than for many other newcomers, as he has already connected on social media with all his new teammates, and they with him, which indicates the beginning of integration into the team.
'I am confident that Illia will cope. Even if the first months are difficult, the main thing is not to dwell on failures, to keep working, and to trust Luis Enrique. Paris is a bustling and footballing city. If Zabarnyi shows good football, he will be supported,' noted Levytskyi.
Zabarnyi has already earned a medal for the victory over Tottenham in the UEFA Super Cup with PSG.
During the signing of the contract with the French club, the Ukrainian defender demonstrated his patriotism.
It should also be noted that in Zabarnyi's former team, the coach may be changed, as Oleksandr Shovkovskyi is being considered for dismissal from Dynamo.
Zabarnyi is quickly adapting to PSG, has already debuted, and won his first trophy, and a positive attitude and self-confidence will help him in his professional growth in the new team.Read also
