The deployment of a full non-nuclear deterrent complex against the Russian Federation on Ukrainian territory is considered the most challenging point to implement in Ukraine's victory plan, according to political scientist Oleh Chalenko.

"This is a political decision that can indeed be achieved if Washington changes its perspective on Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration and speed for our country in the coming months. As I see it, the most difficult part is organizing the deployment of a full non-nuclear deterrent complex against the Russian Federation on Ukrainian territory. Obviously, this issue requires additional coordination with our partners," he said on the air of the FREEДОМ TV channel.

The political scientist noted that even the presence of Western instructors on our territory raises disputes.

"The issue is also quite complex regarding the air defense umbrella from Western countries in coordination with Ukraine to shoot down Russian missiles and 'Shaheds' on our territory. This is also a complex issue right now," he explained.

Moreover, there are disputes over the complete lifting of restrictions on the use of Western long-range weaponry against the territory of the aggressor country.

"There are a number of points in the victory plan that are much easier to implement because they have been worked on, particularly by the Ukrainian side, for several months. This plan is balanced; it is not merely, as we like to say, Kyiv's 'wish list.' No, Kyiv shows what it can offer in return. And this plan can be clearly divided into two halves. In fact, the last two and a half points are exactly what Ukraine can contribute to economic security and overall security in the Euro-Atlantic space," the political scientist said.
