According to The Sun: Emma Raducanu shared her thoughts on Carlos Alcaraz's sudden new haircut, which has shocked everyone with its shaved style.

The 22-year-old Raducanu found herself part of romantic rumours regarding Alcaraz during their time at the US Open.

Alcaraz showcased his new haircut during the first-round match against American Reilly Opelka at Arthur Ashe Stadium, winning the match 6-4, 7-5, 6-4, which allowed him to advance to the next round.

After the match, Alcaraz admitted that the new look came about due to a joking misunderstanding with his brother. However, his friend Frances Tiafoe criticized the haircut, calling it 'awful'.

Nevertheless, Raducanu had one fan of the haircut. She noted that the new look is 'characteristic' of Alcaraz and assured that it would not hinder his game. She said:

“I think he owns that style. If you are the owner of such a haircut, it can work for you. But everything he does will not affect his performances on the court.”

Raducanu also added:

“I’m just happy to see him happy.”
