Conflict after the match at Twickenham
According to The Sun: Argentina's coach Felipe Contepomi accused Tom Curry of assaulting him in the Twickenham tunnel after the England team secured victory and completed the autumn cycle unbeaten.
Argentinian number 8 Santiago Grondona provoked a conflict between Curry and Henry Pollock after the final whistle. He accused the flanker of deliberately attacking fullback Juan Cruz Mallía in the last minutes of the match.
“Tom Curry was the aggressor and behaved rudely,” Contepomi said.
The conflict that erupted on the field continued in the tunnel, showcasing the tension between the teams.
This situation highlights the emotions of sports competitions and the intensity of contests at the highest level. Such incidents often become a topic of discussion among fans and the media, as genuine emotions can often be hard to contain even after the referee's whistle.
