EU Endorses Zelensky’s Call for Direct Talks with Putin.

According to Novyny.live: The European Union has welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s proposal to engage in direct negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In a statement delivered on June 5, Zelensky urged an end to the war and called for face-to-face talks between the two nations.
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced that Kyiv will formally transmit an open letter from Zelensky to Putin through diplomatic channels. The Kremlin has already confirmed receipt and review of the letter. The initiative has also drawn approval from Washington.
