According to UATV: On June 29, 2023, the European Union formally approved a €90 billion loan mechanism to support Ukraine, with a reform plan already coordinated with Ukrainian authorities. This decision marks a significant milestone in bolstering Ukraine’s economic stability and long-term development. The EU’s assistance will be disbursed over a two-year period, allowing Kyiv to pursue structural changes and recovery efforts.
The first tranche of €3.2 billion was already delivered on June 25, 2023, underscoring the EU’s swift action in backing Ukraine amid ongoing challenges. These funds are intended to help stabilize the economy and fund key reforms.
Guillaume Mercier, a European Union official, stated: 'The work is complete.'
