Yevhen Rybchynskyi revealed family ties with Iryna Bilyk and the reason for the end of their collaboration.

According to ТСН: Ukrainian poet and composer Yevhen Rybchynskyi unexpectedly shared information about his family ties with singer Iryna Bilyk.

Relationship between Rybchynskyi and Bilyk

In an interview with "Alone Together", Rybchynskyi revealed that he invited the artist to be the godmother of Danilo. Although the young man is already an adult at 22 years old, the singer still maintains warm relations with him and delights him with surprises.

"This is Danilo's mother. They are very fond of each other. She always gives him gifts. He is very proud to have such a godmother," the poet noted.

Creative collaboration and its conclusion

Rybchynskyi also admitted that their professional collaboration with Bilyk ended due to a misunderstanding that arose from authorship of the song. According to the composer, the singer did not credit him as the author and blamed the managers for this situation. As a result, Rybchynskyi decided to stop offering her his works.

"At one time she said she needed an acoustic guitar song, and I wrote 'Gray Old Man'. Then she was still singing in Russian. She sang it. The next time I checked her YouTube, the lyrics and music were credited to Iryna Bilyk, when in fact it was Yevhen Rybchynskyi. I said, 'With all due respect, I love and kiss ...'. And she said to me, 'It's my managers, I have nothing to do with that.' And I translated it into Ukrainian, but I am already singing it myself. I didn't offer her anything anymore," the poet recounted.

The state of relations today

Despite the end of their collaboration, the personal relationship between Rybchynskyi and Bilyk remains good. According to the composer, they continue to communicate and occasionally meet.

"I treat her like a relative. We meet. When she has a schedule that can be shifted, we meet in restaurants and discuss many things," he shared.
